Guide Description

Source:  Darpa

The Dictionary of Computer and Internet Words defines artificial intelligence as a branch of computer science whose goal is to develop electronic devices that can operate with some of the characteristics of human intelligence.  Among these properties are logical deduction and inference, creativity, the ability to make decisions based on past experience or insufficient or conflicting information, and the ability to understand natural language. This guide will help you understand how the Defense Dept. plans to integrate these devices to fill a technological role in the U.S. military forces.

This research guide is not a comprehensive listing of sources, but is intended to be a starting point from which students can begin their research according to their specific needs.

Access to MSFRIC subscription databases is limited to current Air University faculty and students.
