Advanced Search

Searching for Student Papers

Basic search for "Air University Research"

  1. Go to the MSFRIC homepage at https://www.airuniversity.af.edu/Library/
    NOTE: For complete access, you must connect via a .MIL (NIPRNET) computer.
  2. On the website click on box labeled "Search Library Resources" or click on "Research Tools" and then "Student papers".
  3. You will reach a search screen and here choose Advanced Search.
  4. On the Advanced Search page, select "AU Research."
    1. The results from this search will include all the student papers and research done at Air University submitted by the individual schools.
    2.  Here you will also be able to limit your search to a specific school by click on the drop down box next to Search Scope.

 

Accessing Search Results and Details

The results can be accessed three different ways:      

  1. Online only
  2. Online and Hard copy
  3. Hard copy only

FIRST, the locations are displayed below each title and will tell you the location status.  Note: If the call number starts with M-U, they will be located in the documents area. If it states "Online Access" then click on the link for access. 

  • Due to the Air Force firewalls some items are only available on .mil. 

NEXT, click on the title of an item to provide an abstract and the bibliographic information of the record.
