Book Review Finding Aid: Home

This brief guide will assist you in locating reviews of books published and distributed in the United States and Canada.  You will need the title of the book, author, and the publication date.  If you search in an online database, journal or website, start by entering the title of the book and a few keywords to limit your search. Search for a book review in the Air & Space Power Journal online by typing the title in quotes "steps to war" and the key words "book reviews".  Always check your search terms for spelling errors if your results return little or no results.

The final issue of  Air & Space Power Journal is Winter 2021. Aether combined and replaced both Air & Space Power Journal and Strategic Studies Quarterly. The final issue of Strategic Studies Quarterly is also Winter 2021.

If you select a print book review digest or index, look for the title or author of your volume alphabetically in the year of publication, or perhaps the year following publication.  Consult the Air University Libraries' Master List of Periodicals to see if the source publication is owned by the Center.  If so, locate the magazine or journal in the periodical collection and make desired notes or photocopy the review of your book.et

Please ask for help if you cannot get the complete text of an article you selected from our subscriptions.  It may be necessary in some cases to request the article from another library.

This research guide is not a comprehensive listing of sources, but is intended to be a starting point from which students can begin their research according to their specific needs.
