Leaving one's country to settle in another, or immigration, can be more difficult in the 21st century as immigration policy changes clamp down onthe flow of people crossing borders.  Can an immigration policy provide respite to all those seeking to escape oppression, civil unrest, and terrorism, and rout out those individuals planning to commit acts of terrorism?

This research guide is not a comprehensive listing of sources, but is intended to be a starting point from which students can begin their research according to their specific needs.
