Guide Description

A pandemic is an epidemic of an infectious disease that has spread across a large region, for instance multiple continents or worldwide, affecting a substantial number of people. This guide brings together resources on pandemics, how they impact the military, and military responses to pandemics. It contains information on both historical pandemics and the currently unfolding COVID-19 pandemic. This research guide is not a comprehensive listing of sources, but is intended to be a starting point from which students can begin their research according to their specific needs.
