Military Leaders: Ataturk, Mustapha Kemal

Mustapha Kemal Ataturk (1881-1938) was a soldier and political leader. Ataturk was militarily successful in both World War I and the Greco-Turkish War of 1921-22. Kemal Ataturk instituted major social and political reforms while President of Turkey. Later in life he became known as father of his country.
