This guide provides articles and documents on the concept of Game-Based Learning (GBL), which is the borrowing of certain gaming principles and applying them to real-life settings to engage users.Game-based learning and gamification are techniques with many potential applications in PME, as they use the human psychology of motivation, combined oftentimes with cutting-edge technology, to immerse learners in serious scenarios while practicing creative problem-solving, communication, and innovation skills to meet designed objectives.
