AU Library
AU Faculty Connect is searchable by two options - Researchers and Works. The default search options is set to Researchers:
The next sub-search field includes All, Name, Affiliation, Topic:
Keywords are acceptable when searching. For example, a user can use a subject matter or a researcher's name to search.
Searching by Works will search all the published works within AU Faculty Connect.
For example, searching 'russia' will return these results:
Users can use the facets on the left-hand side to narrow down by Author/Creator, Subject, etc.
A user can also browse profiles through the Academic Units:
This will show the academic unit hierarchy, and is based on either on Researchers or Works:
Leaving it on Researchers, the user will click on a unit and can browse the profiles attached to that unit:
After doing a search and getting results, some works are available as full text. To check if full text is available, click on the title of a work and the full display will appear:
Links to full text works are supplied through the Air University Library's online catalog.
