eBooks: Locating eBooks

Searching for eBooks in the Air University Library collection is the best way to locate all eBooks. Below are a few steps to make the search easier. 

1. Go to https://www.airuniversity.af.edu/Library
2. Click on the Advanced Search. 
3. Enter your search terms on the page and click search. 
4. On the search results, use the filters on the left to narrow down to items "Available online" and "Books" (see screenshot below; Books will be under "Resource Type." You may need to scroll down and click "See more" to find it). 
5. Access to Air University Library electronic resources is limited to students, faculty and staff of Air University. Username and password are required for access. To locate your password, click here.

Air University Library has been diligently working to offer more eBooks options for Faculty, Staff, and Students during the current remote environment. 

To find the eBooks we have available, please search our Discovery tool for the eBooks we subscribe or go directly to their platforms in our Database List.

Want a print title in e-format? Let us know by submitting a "Suggest A Purchase" form and adding a note requesting the eBook version. 

While we can request interlibrary loans for print books, we are not able to request complete copies of eBooks due to licensing restrictions set by publishers.  Current Air University Faculty, Staff and Students can request chapters of eBooks through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) at no cost to you.
