Air University Library: Faculty Services

Faculty Services

Air University Faculty have access to all the services offered to students, as well as the following services that may help with your teaching and research:

School Liaisons

A librarian is assigned as a liaison to each Air University school. The liaison can help you acquire needed materials not in the AUL collections, set up tours or library instructional sessions for classes, and orient you to the services and resources at AUL.

Course Guide

Subject, course, and other informational guides are created by the School Liaison Librarians at AU Library to help you find articles, books, journals, and more. Navigate to our guide list and browse by subject to start finding what you need.

These guides are accessible through Canvas. Within each course, there is a tab labeled "AU Library" which will go to the appropriate guide for that course. If at the beginning of the semester this feature was disabled, please contact a librarian. If there is no specific guide for your course, the Library Resources tab will default to the "AU Student and Resource" guide.

You may reach out to your librarian about creating a course or topic guide.

Database

Air University Library offers access to over 100 electronic databases to current AU students and faculty, many of which are available off-base. Click HERE to request a username/password. The request REQUIRES a valid .mil or .au.af.edu email address. (No commercial email addresses or telephone requests will receive a response).
